Swords and Serpents let you and a friend play the brave white knight and the blue sorcerer as you penetrate deep into the 9-level stronghold, collecting treasures and spells on the way.  At the bottom rested the great serpent.  I never made it to the end of this game, as it was hard, but supposedly the ending was cool.
