FTL - short for Faster-Than-Light - is perhaps synonymous with Dungeon Master, their most popular and most successful series. It spawned hundreds of copycats to come, but holds the honor of being the first, and many say still the best, true first person real-time RPG. As popular as it was in America, it was even more so in Japan, where numerous sequels were produced, seen here, that never made it across the ocean. Dungeon Master, and its sequel Chaos Strikes Back, are another of those near-perfect games, with an ideal mixture of puzzles, combat and graphics that has never been reproduced. And if this weren't enough, FTL was responsible for other hit games as well such as the space exploration game Sundog. Even today their games hold up remarkably well, and are still great fun, and challenging, to play.
