A relatively short series of comic books based in various AD&D worlds were released in the late eighties/early nineties, an attempt to take advantage of the popularity of both the pen-and-paper and computer games. I am guessing they were not too popular as it is not in a role-playing interactive format, but they look cool anyways (especially the Dragonlance ones).
